A Historical Analysis of the Effectiveness of Tactical Air Operations Against and in Support of Armored Forces (1980)

This study was performed for the Sandia Corporation. It examines selected data from World War II, Korea, and the Arab-Israeli Wars to determine how tactical air forces were employed against armored units. Instances in which air forces defeated the armored force were found. Tentative conclusions on effectiveness of air attacks were drawn.
